New Features and Fixes in March 2012

We are excited about the new features we have added in March 2012 as well as other improvements we have made. We appreciate the

votes you have made on requested features, and continue to listen to your ideas and suggestions.

Go to mth.uservoice.com and submit your suggestions and vote on submitted features that you would like us to implement. You can also browse through our Knowledge Base for information and answers to commonly asked questions. If you have any questions of your own, Click on “Contact Us” on the Uservoice page and send your question to our Support Team for a quick answer.

Here are the latest Features and Other Improvements made in March, 2012:

  • Drag and drop calendar events. On calendar month view, drag any event to a new date in the calendar to change the schedule. Week and Day view drag & drop coming soon.
  • You can now customize the default image at the top of your studio website, and change a few other theme settings. Go to Website -> Layout / Theme, and click “Customize” on your theme.
  • You can now accept credit cards from your students directly via Authorize.net, as an alternative to Paypal. To set it up, go to Settings > Enable Credit Card Payments for info.
  • Lesson times of scheduled lessons are now included on the monthly invoices. Thanks to all who voted on this idea!
  • Website pages can now have submenus. Create a new page and set the ‘Page Parent’ to make it a submenu.
  • Good news! We made visual improvements on some studio themes making them look cleaner.

Bug Fixes:

  • Studio Logo variable was not available on the variable list for the Student Welcome Email template. This is now fixed.
  • On Website > Website Pages. System pages like Photos, Resources, etc. had useless page editors in them. This are now removed.
  • Reset Login on Students > Manage Students > Manage Student Logins did not work in IE9. This is now fixed.
  • Parents were unable to pay via Paypal on Billing > Make an online payment. This is now fixed.
  • Cancelled accounts received notification emails about expiring credit cards. This is now fixed.
  • Some templates showed border lines on tables even though they didn’t have on the page editor. This is now fixed.
  • On the Payments page, error messages showed up when no payments exist. This is now fixed.
  • The header text on some studio website themes had an underline. We removed the underline so it looks more like a header not a link.
  • Photos did not open when thumbnails were clicked on the studio website. This is now fixed.

  • Few themes’ registration page had text colors the same color as their background color which made it invisible. This is now fixed.
  • Some custom webpages were impossible to delete. This is now fixed.
  • When a calendar day menu was opened it stayed open after clicking delete event which blocked the choices. This is now fixed.
  • Large calendar fonts didn’t work. This is now fixed.
  • All calendar events on a day showed open to registration even if only one event is actually open. This is now fixed.
  • Some website themes had studio titles that were not clickable. This is now fixed.
  • On Website > Website Pages, clicking any “View” link would go to a page not found page. This is now fixed.
  • On the calendar, the popup when trying to reconcile a lesson, it annoyingly covered the notes screen. This is now fixed.
