Two years ago I was out with my brother (who is a Realtor) and his client, a CEO of a large computer firm in New York City. The CEO was inquiring about music lessons for his son. He mentioned that the best computer programmers in his corporation were the programmers who played a musical instrument. He quickly learned that there was a strong correlation between programmers and musicians, and looks for this correlation when interviewing a prospective programmer. Interesting article, Ed.
