As a MTH Support Team Member, I see many questions and answers that would be beneficial to all of the members of the MTH Community. This is the first of many articles which will show you the questions asked by the teachers, and the answers given by the support team members. Feel free to add a comment in the comment section following the article.
Music Teacher: I’m just updating my logos in MTH. I wish that I could use my invoice logo in emails instead of the regular logo. It would fit better at the top.
MTH: You actually can link to any image, including your invoice logo in the email templates. Simply use the “image” button in the toolbar and paste in the url of the image you want to use. To find the image of your invoice logo, go to the page where you change the logo, right click on the logo and choose “image properties”. You can copy the url listed there to put it in your email template.
Music Teacher: I’d like to customize my studio web page. How do I do this? I looked for icons but couldn’t find any.
MTH: When you say icons do you mean a studio logo? You can now upload a studio logo to your site – go to File>My Studio Website>Studio Logo and you can upload a logo to your site.
Music Teacher: I’m trying to upload a picture for my logo. It’s from my camera, so it is in JPG format. Nothing happens when I click on Upload it keeps the logo that is already there. I even clicken on remove logo, to get rid of the one that is already there. Help me, Please!
MTH: If you’re uploading a new studio logo or invoice logo, but the old logo is still showing up, most likely, the reason is that your browser is pulling from your Internet cache to show the old logo. Other people will see the new one, but you see the old one. This is especially true if you are using Internet Explorer (which is notorious for poor caching), or a web accelerator.
To solve this problem, simply clear your Internet cache. In Internet Explorer, you can do this by going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files.
Alternately, if you open up another browser such as www.firefox.com or www.opera.com, you will most likely see your new logo.
