A great site for students looking at a career in music.

While doing research for another article for the MTH blog, I came across another site. It is called Careers in Music and was created by the Music Educators National Conference. It is a very informative site filled with lots of information for anyone considering a career in music or a career change within the music field. There are 16 categories of music careers covered. Each category has lots of information including job requirements, training, salary and more. The information on the site can be downloaded as a PDF and printed to share with interested students.

I checked out this web site and what an amazing tool for students. I loved the way the information is presented. I recommend this for all high school music teachers (and maybe even school counselors) to help their students look into music as a career.
